New blog on Substack: A Writer & His Dog

Christopher J. Watt has announced his newest development; a new blog and email list on Substack.

Titled A Writer & His Dog, the new platform will provide instant updates and serve as a newsfeed for Christopher and his writing. Posts will include the latest news and progress updates on writing, as well as more personal behind-the-scenes content about the writing process.

Branching off the main blog is Story and Screen. This "journalism section" is specifically designed for posts around movies and politics. Posts found here will range from opinion pieces about election results to news and reviews regarding latest film and TV releases.

Altogether, A Writer & His Dog is a place for writing, journalism, and cynophilia to thrive. Readers will receive all updates and news directly to their email inboxes the moment something new is posted. Christopher's current newsletter, Monthly Digest, will remain active, along with this blog, and so nothing will be taken away from how things are done now. The new platform, on Substack, is described as an extension of the current setup to allow for a wider audience and more regular posting.
