write something worth reading

The quote comes from Benjamin Franklin, and it's one of the most profound statements I've found about writing.

I'm Christopher J. Watt; the young writer in Australia who co-authored two American historical fiction novels.

Writing has been an enormous part of my life ever since I could hold a pen and form sentences.

From what was once a hobby has now become somewhat a career, and I want YOU to share in the joys of writing; whether that's learning through the blog, discovering my writing, or learning more about me and the writing process through my newsletter.

One Blog to Rule Them All

Just kidding, I'm not quite there yet.

But the blog is a pretty awesome feature! You can find posts about writing, author interviews, events, book and movie reviews, snippets of my latest writing, and so much more.

25 People. 13 Colonies.

ONE WAR.

War has broken out amongst the American colonies. Delegations are forming to declare independence from the British Empire.

And the British aren't feeling jolly about it.

In a co-authored anthological novel, 25 young writers meet under the guidance of award-winning authors Jenny L. Cote and Libby McNamee to write the EPIC story of 1776.
